UPDATE TO RELEASE OF OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING VIDEO ON BEHALF OF SANGAMON COUNTY STATE’S ATTORNEY

 – On behalf of Sangamon County State’s Attorney John C. Milhiser, the Illinois State Police announces that the release of the body worn camera (BWC) video from the officer involved shooting of Ms. Sonya Massey will be released on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.  The release is being pushed back at the request of the family of Sonya Massey and their legal representative.
