BELLEVILLE – The Illinois State Police (ISP) is hosting a women’s recruitment event – “Meet the Women of ISP: ​ A Career Pathway Workshop.” ​ According to the U.S. Department of Justice1, about 14% of full-time sworn officers and 11% of first-line supervisors across local police departments were women. ​ ISP is committed to increasing the number of women at ISP.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Deputy Director Cher Clodfelter, Assistant Deputy Director Malissa Feld, and Captain Casey Faro will be available for interviews from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. ​ ​

Please join us to learn about the various law enforcement specialties within ISP, hear from the women who are committed to public service, talk with those looking to join law enforcement, and help us spread the word about the opportunities available.
