ILLINOIS STATE POLICE LAKE COUNTY METRO ENFORCEMENT GROUP ARRESTS TWO AFTER CANNABIS INVESTIGATION

LAKEMOOR – The Illinois State Police Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group (LCMEG) arrested 53-year-old Andrew H. Field and 28-year-old Emily A. Coleman, both of Wauconda, IL for one count of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver over 5,000 grams (Class X Felony) and one count of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis over 5,000 grams (Class 1 Felony) each.
In November 2024, LCMEG agents were contacted to investigate an allegation of illegal cannabis manufacturing at a warehouse in Lakemoor, IL. Throughout the extensive investigation, LCMEG agents executed search warrants and seized evidence, which identified Fields and Coleman as suspects.
On March 5, 2025, officers executed additional search warrants at Milk and Honey Farm in Wauconda, IL and arrested Coleman and Field on charges of one count of Manufacturing / Delivery of Cannabis over 5,000 grams (Class X Felony), one count of Possession of Cannabis over 5,000 grams (Class 1 Felony), and one count of Calculated Criminal Conspiracy (Class 3 Felony). Field and Coleman were released on pre-trial conditions and await a further court date in McHenry County.
On March 11, 2025, based on additional evidence collected during the March 5, 2025 search warrant, Field and Coleman were issued additional arrest warrants in Lake County for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver over 5,000 grams (Class X Felony) and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis over 5,000 grams (Class 1 Felony). The investigation remains open and on-going and no further information is available.

The charges are not evidence against the defendants, and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
