ILLINOIS STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING IN ARCOLA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 17, 2025

ARCOLA – The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 5 was requested by the Arcola Police Department to assist with a shooting investigation. On January 17, 2025 at approximately 12:00 a.m., Arcola PD responded to the report of a shooting in the 200 block of South Pine Street. One male was located with injuries sustained from a gunshot and was transported to an area hospital. There is no threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information to share at this time.
