ILLINOIS STATE POLICE ARRESTS WINNEBAGO COUNTY MAN FOR POSSESSION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIALS

LOVES PARK- Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 2 special agents arrested 20-year-old Tyler J. Horton of Loves Park, IL for 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Class 1 Felony).
On July 24, 2025, ISP special agents executed a search warrant at Horton’s residence in the 4500 block of Moorlands Drive in Loves Park and collected electronic evidence. The evidence was analyzed and revealed child sexual abuse materials. ISP special agents arrested Horton and transported him to the Winnebago County Jail pending his first court appearance. There is no additional information.
ISP was assisted in their investigation by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office, Belvidere Police Department, Loves Park Police Department, Freeport Police Department, and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.

The charge is not evidence against the defendant, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
