ILLINOIS STATE POLICE ARRESTS ROCKFORD MAN FOR DISSEMINATION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIALS

ROCKFORD – Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 2 arrested 32-year-old David Perkins of Rockford, IL for Dissemination of Child Pornography (Class X Felony) and Possession of Child Pornography (Class 2 Felony).

On January 8, 2025, ISP agents executed a search warrant at Perkins’ residence in the 300 block of Cole Avenue in Rockford and collected electronic evidence. The evidence was analyzed and revealed child exploitation materials. ISP agents arrested Perkins, and he was transported to the Winnebago County Jail for a detention hearing. There is no additional information.

The charges are not evidence against the defendant, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
