ILLINOIS STATE POLICE ARRESTS RIVERDALE MAN AFTER ROAD RAGE SHOOTING ON I-57

CHICAGO – Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 1 Special Agents arrested 29-year-old Emmanuel C. Mosley of Riverdale, IL after a road rage incident escalated into a shooting on I-57.
On May 28, 2026, around 1:56 p.m., ISP responded to the report of an expressway shooting that occurred on I-57 northbound near 111th Street in Chicago. A suspect in another vehicle fired a weapon at the victim’s vehicle. The victim was not injured. After an extensive investigation, ISP Special Agents identified Mosley as the suspect.
On June 3, 2026, Special Agents located and arrested Mosley. ISP presented the case to the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and Mosley was charged with one count of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm (Class 1 Felony). He remains in custody pending his first court appearance. No further information is available.
