PEKIN – Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 4 Special Agents arrested 46-year-old Christian E. Hundt of Pekin, IL for three counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (Class 2 Felony).

In August of 2025, ISP began an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation in Tazewell County. On March 18, 2026, Zone 4 Special Agents, assisted by Officers with the Peoria Metropolitan Enforcement Group and Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, as well as digital examiners with the Illinois Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, executed the search warrant at the suspect’s residence in the 18000 block of Lake Knolls Road in Pekin and collected electronic evidence. The suspect was home at the time of the search warrant and was identified as Hundt.
