ILLINOIS STATE POLICE ARRESTS KANKAKEE MAN FOR POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE WITH INTENT TO DELIVER

KANKAKEE – Illinois State Police (ISP) Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group (KAMEG) arrested 58-year-old Douglas P. Moore of Kankakee, IL for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver (Class X Felony), Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 4 Felony), Manufacturing/Delivery of Fentanyl 1-15 grams (Class 1 Felony), Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Deliver 15-100 grams (Class 1 Felony), Armed Violence (Class X Felony), Unlawful Possession of Weapon by a Felon (Class 2 Felony) , and Child Endangerment (Class A Misdemeanor).

On Friday, June 5, 2026, at approximately 4:29 a.m., after an extensive narcotics investigation in the Kankakee area, KAMEG officers, assisted by Illinois State Police SWAT and the Kankakee City Police Department, executed a search warrant at Moore’s residence in the 1900 block of E. Oak Street. Officers recovered almost 200 grams of methamphetamine, over 50 grams of crack cocaine, nearly 100 fentanyl pills, and over a dozen grams of heroin. A firearm and drug paraphernalia were also recovered. Moore was arrested and taken to the Jerome Combs Detention Center. No further information is available.
