ILLINOIS STATE POLICE ARRESTS KANKAKEE MAN FOR POSSESSION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIALS

KANKAKEE– Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 1 arrested 35-year-old Joseph L. Lookingbill of Kankakee, IL for three counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Class 3 Felony).

On January 7, 2025, after a brief investigation ISP agent arrested Lookingbill at his residence in the 2100 block of Schuyler Avenue in Kankakee. ​ A search warrant executed on electronics owned by Lookingbill revealed child exploitation material. ​ Lookingbill was transported to the Kankakee County Jail for a detention hearing. There is no additional information.

The charges are not evidence against the defendant, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
