    "body": "<p style=\"text-align: center\">June 9, 2026</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>OLNEY</strong> &ndash; Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 8 is assisting the Richland County Sheriff&rsquo;s Office with a death investigation in Olney.</p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">On June 8, 2026, at approximately 3:35 a.m., the Richland County Sheriff&#039;s Office responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 4500 block of E. Golf Lane in Olney, IL. Upon arrival, a deputy located the suspect, 49-year-old Kenneth Lee Grove. Grove failed to comply with the deputy&rsquo;s commands, at which time the deputy deployed their taser, striking Grove. Grove became unresponsive, and emergency medical services were requested. The deputy began life\u2011saving measures; however, Grove was pronounced deceased on scene.
